Aberdeen-based TEMS International has shown its backing to a city youth football team by sponsoring the side’s training kits.
The independent drilling performance management specialist has become a sponsor of Hermes FC Youth Football Club’s 2014 team, providing new full training kits for all the players.
Hermes’ 2014 squad is made up of 23 players all aged seven years old. The Bridge of Don side currently train at the playing fields at Persley Bridge, which was recently fitted with new floodlights, and play friendly tournaments with other clubs across Aberdeen.
Established in 1968, Hermes FC currently plays in the Scottish Junior Football League North Superleague. The club runs teams for boys and girls from age four to adult in all age groups.
TEMS International managing director, Bill Walkingshaw, said: “We are pleased to have signed up to sponsor the new training kit for this young team, giving them an added sense of confidence when they run onto the pitch for training and matches. With some of our staff having a connection to this Hermes FC side, giving them our backing is an appropriate way for us to support the local community.
“Hermes FC has a long and successful history, and we look forward to hearing how this young team develops and progresses in tournaments over the seasons ahead.”
