A leading environmental management service company has announced the successful completion of a landmark project in Mexico.
Turnkey Environmental Management Services International Ltd (TEMS International) was employed by a major international operator during the drilling of Mexico’s first ever offshore deepwater wells.
Using environmental legislation knowledge gained in the Gulf of Mexico and Trinidad deepwater regions, TEMS International assisted in generating and establishing offshore Deepwater Mexico environmental legislation during the successful drilling of two wells in this emerging marketplace.
TEMS International’s involvement during the zero discharge project included compliance reporting, analysis and testing, reporting to local environmental bodies, exceeding local environmental legislation requirements, fluids management and drilling fluids performance management.

TEMS International recently secured 1,000 square feet of office and reception space in Houston’s Energy Corridor area to provide scope for the current headcount to increase in line with ambitious growth plans. It is anticipated that the current team of two will grow significantly as the company seeks to develop new revenue streams, including the land rig market which will require the recruitment of additional operational staff and engineers.
